The end of the traditional 30-day mourning period following the passing last month of Judge Morris Rothenberg, American Zionist leader, was marked here yesterday at a meeting attended by representatives of all national institutions and presided over by Rabbi Zeev Gold, Jewish Agency executive member.
Among other top Israelis participating in the memorial meeting were Labor Minister Golda Myerson, Education Minister Zalman Shazar and Sephardio Chief Rabbi Ben Zion Uziel. Dr. Abraham Granott, world head of the Jewish National Fund, described the late U.S. Zionist as a “leader and a friends.”
