Dr. Shmuel Eliashev, Israel’s now Minister to Moscow, yesterday presented his credentials to President Nikola Shwornik of the Soviet Union at a ceremony in the Kremlin, it was reported here today. Dr. Eliashev is succeeding Mordocai Namir who returned to Israel last November after resigning from his post in Moscow.
Diplomatic relations between Israel and Bulgaria were officially announced today with the arrival here from Sofia of Alexander Likov, Bulgarian charge d’affairs. Israel’s nominee for Sofia has not yet been designated. Both countries expect to install legations soon.
