The sympathies displayed by President Juan Peron towards Israel and his fight against racial intolerance in Argentina were praised today by Israel Minister Yacov Tsur, addressing a reception tendered in his honor by the Committee to Plant a San Martin Forest in Israel.
The Israel Minister stressed that Argentina was the first Latin American country to establish a legation in the Jewish state. He also praised Mrs. Peron for sending clothes to children in Israel through the social foundation of which she is president.
