The Ministry of Religious Affairs has launched “Operation Klei Kodesh,” the mobilization of cantors and the provision of sacramental requirements for hundreds of special synagogues for the High Holy Days.
In response to requests from different parts of the country, the Ministry conducted intensive courses in holiday liturgy and qualified cantors will be sent to officiate at prayers from Rosh Hashanah to Succoth. Prayer books, shofars, slichoth and Sifrei Torah are being provided.
