Israel Must Apply for Marshall Plan Aid to E.c.a. Paris Office

If Israel wants Economic Cooperation Administration aid it will have to make formal application to the office of the E.C.A. in Paris, E,C A. administrator Paul Hoffman said here.” At the same time, State Department and E.C A. officials said they knew of nothing to bear out reports that the U.S. night extend Marshall Plan aid to Israel and the Arab nations.

Hoffman was quoted as Baying “if recognition is granted Israel, and if Israel ##ts E.C.A, aid, they would have to make formal application to the European Economic Cooperation office in Paris. If they are accepted,” he said, “that would be fine. Then they could come here and start negotiating the required bilateral agreement with ?,” he added.
