Emile Najar was today named Israel’s first Minister to Japan. Mr. Najar is expected to leave for Tokyo next month. Now assistant director of the Foreign Ministry, Mr. Najar came to Israel from France after the Jewish State was established. Before that he headed the Jewish Agency office in Paris.
