Israel will again have a delegation considered extremely strong when this year’s UN General Assembly convenes for its 12th regular session next Thursday. The names of most of the delegation members were made public by an Israel Government spokesman here today. One of the top members of the delegation whose name attracted particular attention when the list was announced will be Joseph Avidar, Israel’s Ambassador to Moscow.
During the early part of the session, the delegation will be headed formally by Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister. After Mrs. Meir leaves, which will be in about two or three weeks after the session starts, the delegation chairman will be Israel’s permanent representative here, Abba Eban.
