The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra last night gave the first of two concerts it has scheduled here on its current 19-concert tour of Europe. The concert was presented under the patronage of French Education Minister A. Berthoin and was attended by diplomats leaders in the French Government, including Senate President Rene Cassin and well known figures in the world of music and art.
