The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra will launch its ten-week tour of the United States with an inaugural dinner concert to be held Jan. 8, 1951, it was announced here. Jan Peerce, noted Metropolitan Opera tenor, who recently returned from Israel after a six-week engagement with the Philharmonic, will be soloist at the dinner-concert and Leonard Bernstein will conduct.
