Military education is being planned for Israel’s secondary schools, it was revealed here today by Army Chief of Staff Yigal Yadin at a public meeting.
It is understood that two alternative proposals for the introduction of military education in the schools have been submitted by the military authorities to the Ministry of Education. One proposal calls for a direct form of military training, while the other recommends military study within the framework of the school curriculum.
