Israel plans to initiate soon a diplomatic campaign in the capitals of the six European Common Market countries in its continued but hitherto fruitless effort to win some kind of trade ties with the Euromart countries. The campaign is in anticipation of a scheduled meeting at the end of September of the Council of Ministers, the ruling body of Euromart. Steps to obtain an agreement were discussed today at a meeting between Prime Minister Levi Eshkol, Finance Minister Pinhas Sapir, and key officials of the Foreign, Agriculture and Finance Ministries.
