The Cabinet yesterday approved the issuance of a postage stamp bearing the picture of the late Moshe Sharett who was Israel’s first Foreign Minister, later Prime Minister and Chairman of the World Zionist Executive. The stamp will be issued by the Israel Post Office in connection with the next World Zionist Congress which opens here early next year. According to a Cabinet decision fifteen years ago, stamps bearing the likeness of a person are issued only in exceptional cases and require prior approval.
