The plant of the government-sponsored radio system will be expanded so that its programs will be able to reach the United States and other distant lands, a government spokesman announced here today.
The spokesman said that new equipment had been ordered in the United States and an American radio expert had been invited to come to Israel to help with the enlargement of the plant. He praised the assistance given the radio system by the Israel consulate in New York, making special note of the aid provided by Avraham Harman, director of the Israel information Office in the United States.
