Israel reopened a Gaza Strip crossing as part of confidence-building gestures toward the Palestinians. Some 10,000 Palestinian workers entered Israel on Monday from the Gaza Strip after the Sufa Crossing was opened — double the number of Palestinians who had entered the previous day.
