Israel reprimanded military officers responsible for the accidental killing of three Egyptian border policemen. The army said Tuesday that the Israel Defense Force’s chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Moshe Ya’alon, had reprimanded the Southern Command general and several junior officers for the Nov. 18 incident in which an Israeli tank in the Gaza Strip opened fire on a group of Egyptian border policemen who it mistook for Palestinian terrorists.
