The helicopters hit two empty offices of Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat’s Fatah faction near Ramallah and a government building in Jericho. Helicopters also struck the Palestinian police headquarters near Jenin, while Israeli tank shells hit a security post in Nablus.
