Two freighters owned by the Isthmian Steamship Company will be transferred from the American to the Israel flag here tomorrow and will be operated by the newly-formed steamship line–M. Dizengoff @ Co. (Shipping), Ltd.–which will offer service between United States Canadian and Israel ports.
One of the vessels–the former Atlanta City–will be named in honor of Meir Dizengoff, first mayor of Tel Aviv and founder of the shipping concern bearing his name. The vessels will be manned principally by Israel seamen, 33 of whom were scheduled to arrive in New York by air during the week-end.
