The Israel Government has signed an agreement with a Belgian mining company to supply mining equipment and instructors to help Israel exploit its Negev copper mines, it was officially announced today. The mines are on the site of the fabulous copper mines of King Solomon.
The agreement provides that the Belgian firm is to collect its fee out of the first income from the export of Israeli copper. The exporting of copper is expected to start within two years.
