The Israel Summer Institute announced today that archaeological diggings have been added to its seven-week program in Israel.
Theodore Comet, director of the American Zionist Youth Foundation, Inc., said the new archaeological activity has been scheduled because of increased interest among American youth in participating personally in the discovery of Israel’s Bibfical past.
Registration for the 16th Israel Summer Institute is now beginning, Since 1949, more than 5,000 American and Canadian youths have attended the Institute, a travel, work and study program sponsored by the American Zionist Youth Foundation, Inc. In conjunction with leading Jewish youth organizations in North America.
