Japan will shortly hear its first Hebrew broadcast in a special program introduced by Israel Education Minister Prof. Ben. Zion Dinur. Prof. Dinur’s address will be delivered in Hebrew and translated into Japanese by an Israel official in Tokyo.
Translations of the songs to be sung on the program will also be done by this official. The broadcast is in the nature of a reciprocal arrangement, a similar program of Japanese music and songs with an introduction by the brother of Emperor Hirohito having been broadcast in Israel recently.
