Israel will create diplomatic posts at Rio De Janiero, Brazil, and Mexico City, but in no other latin American countries at present, Yaacov Tsur, Israel Minister to Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, today told a press conference prior to his leaving for Buenos Aires.
Minister Tsur said that Latin America has become an important food source for Israel and he predicted that a regular supply of meat would be flowing to the Jewish state from Argentina as trade relations between the two countries improve. He said that the facilities granted Israel by Argentina are unprecedented in the history of Argentina’s trade relations with foreign nations.
