Television will come to Israel in about two and a half years, Minister of Information Israel Galili told the Cabinet here today.
At present, Israel has only educational TV. When the services are expanded, in about 30 months, Mr. Galili reported, it will broadcast general programs for two and a half hours daily, in black and white only, and there will be no commercials on the air.
