The envoys of the United States, Britain, France and Turkey are expected to be invited to the Israel Foreign Ministry to hear a new protest by Israel against renewed Arab outbursts on Israel’s borders.
Infiltration and attacks on Israelis increased this week, particularly in the areas adjoining Jordan territory, despite the fact that Jordan authorities several weeks ago agreed to take stringent measures to halt infiltration from their territory. The latest incidents were the kidnapping and murder yesterday of an aged, blind Jew in the Jerusalem area and the hurling of a hand grenade into a home in the Sharon district, killing a man and seriously wounding his wife. These incidents were immediately brought to the attention of the Mixed Armistice Commission.
