As a “good will” gesture, Israel will soon return to Lebanon the Lebanese reconnaissance plane which was intercepted over Israeli airspace recently while photographing Israeli territory from the air. The three members of the Lebanese crew were handed back to Lebanon, last week, through the Mixed Armistice Commission.
As part of the “good will” exchange, Lebanon is expected to return to Israel a diplomatic pouch seized at Beirut. The Israeli parcel was taken from a Swissair plane when the ship landed at Beirut on way to Iran.
