A nationwide census of Israel’s manpower potential in engineering, the natural sciences, mathematics and agriculture will get underway immediately, it was announced here today.
The survey will provide an up-to-date picture of the current manpower situation in these fields and will help in forecasting the country’s professional requirements in the coming decade.
The results of the census will also assist the Government in estimating the possibilities of expanding technical assistance to the underdeveloped countries of Asia and Africa.
