Tanganyika’s Minister for External Affairs and Defense Oscar Kambona expressed his gratitude today for the assistance given his country by the Israel Government.
In an address to Parliament, Mr. Kambona told the members that 15 young Tanganyikans were being trained as pilots in Israel. He said the Government of Israel has also agreed to train another 30 officers beginning next January. “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Government of Israel for all the assistance they have given this young republic,” Mr. Kambona declared.
