A trade agreement was signed here today between Israeli and Turkish trade officials, adding provisions for increasing the existing Turco-Israeli trade pact by $2,500,000. The previous agreement, signed last March, called for $16,000,000 worth of trade between the two countries.
Under the $2,500,000 trade annex, Israel will export to Turkey chiefly drugs, chemicals, electrical appliances and newsprint. Turkey, in return, will provide Israel with sugar, figs and other agricultural products.
