Israel pressed the U.N. Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee today that it was prepared to consider deletion of the term “anti-Semitism” and substitution of “anti-Judaism” wherever religions are mentioned in the draft convention on religious intolerance now before the committee. Previously the American delegate had asserted readiness to agree to a change in terminology.
