Israel will close its embassy in La Paz, Bolivia’s capital, by the end of this year. “It s not a measure that affects only Bolivia,” Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Jonathan Peled said. Other Israeli representations will also be closed this year. In Latin America, Israel has already closed embassies in Panama and Paraguay and the consulates in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil’s largest cities.
