Israel will lift the boycott it imposed on the European Union’s Middle East envoy for meeting with Yasser Arafat. Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom told reporters in Brussels on Monday that Israel would agree to meet with E.U. emissary Marc Otte. Israeli officials have refused to have contact with Otte since he met with the Palestinian Authority president last month.
