The Israel Government does not intend to nationalize the Palestine Electric Corporation, Development Minister Dov Joseph today told Parliament during an outline of the reasons for Israel’s purchase of a controlling share of the stock of the utility. Throughout its negotiations for the purchase of a controlling interest, the Israel Government has attempted to persuade stockholders to hold onto their shares.
