Israeli activists are launching a tree-planting campaign in a Palestinian village in the West Bank that they say has had trees uprooted to make way for Jewish settlements. The campaign, designed to coincide with the Jewish holiday of Tu B’Shevat, is being funded by a coalition of Jewish peace groups in the San Francisco area.
