Israeli aerospace officials have recovered scientific results from the ruins of the Space Shuttle Columbia. The Israeli Aerospace Medical Institute said last week it had retrieved two biofilms of bacteria that astronaut and former Israeli Air Force pilot Col. Ilan Ramon captured while conducting Israeli experiments aboard the doomed flight, the Jerusalem Post said.
