The Ministry of Labor announced today that the largest monthly payment under the new family allowance program will go to a 39-year-old Nazareth Arab with two wives and 16 children, all under 14 years of age. The Arab’s name was withheld.
Each of his wives has given birth to twins. Officials said that the allowance for the 16 children will equal the father’s monthly wage.
