Israeli Cabinet ministers developed a plan for a possible nationwide referendum on a further Israeli redeployment from the West Bank. The ministers said they would recommend a non-binding referendum. Communications Minister Limor Livnat said such a referendum, which according to one newspaper report would cost $29 million, could be held within two months. Polls indicate that a majority of Israelis support a pullback.
