The Israeli Consulate today issued a correction to its report on the cancellation of the scheduled appearance of Arthur Liveran, member of the Israeli delegation to the United Nations, at a forum in a New Hampshire hotel when it learned that the hotel in which the affair was to be held discriminated against American Jews.
Mr. Liveran, the correction stated, was withdrawn as speaker not from Wentworth Hall–as erroneously announced earlier–but from Wentworth-By-The-Sea, in New Hampshire. The owners of Wentworth Hall have informed the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that they are themselves Jewish. At the forum at the Wentworth-By-The-Sea, from which Mr. Liveran was withdrawn by the Israeli Consulate, he and an Arab spokesman were to have discussed the Arab-Israel situation.
