The Israeli air force helicopters returned safely to their base after hitting targets in two villages southeast of Tyre.
The attack destroyed the home of a Hezbollah leader in the village of Deir Kanoun, southeast of Tyre, Lebanese news reports said. The leader, Ahmad Kasseir was not home at the time.
Targets in the village of Ein Abu-Suwair were also reportedly hit.
