Israeli Defense Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer formed a task force to deal with the problem of Palestinian suicide bombers. Ben-Eliezer told the Cabinet on Sunday that the team would consider possible actions to deter attacks, including deporting families of bombers from the West Bank to the Gaza Strip, demolishing bombers’ homes, blocking the transfer of funds to bombers’ families and arresting religious leaders who encourage terror attacks.
