Israeli Defense Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer said he issued an order barring Jewish worshippers from visiting Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus. Speaking before the the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Tuesday, Ben-Eliezer said the ban was issued for safety reasons, adding that anyone trying to enter the area would be arrested.
