The 1961 Presidential inaugural committee today designated the Embassy of Israel as one of the eight embassies invited to hold open house for the thousands of visitors to Washington for the inauguration.
The Israeli Embassy accepted the invitation and agreed to welcome guests of all faiths in keeping with the Israeli tradition of hospitality. The inaugural committee expressed appreciation for Israeli cooperation.
