Ten Israeli emissaries who have been in Italy for the past two years training prospective immigrants to Israel left for home today. With their departure, there are now no longer any Israelis in Italy working in any of the refugee centers in the country.
Two Italian vessels sailed last week for Israel with 1,000 passengers. Most of the immigrants to the Jewish state were Czechoslovak refugees. The S.S. Caserta sailed for Israel over the week-end with 750 Jews, most of them displaced persons from various camps in Italy. Several Iranian Jews were also aboard the Caserta.
