Edni Avinoam, a leading Israeli engineer, has been appointed Economic Consul for the Government of Israel in the New England area, it was announced today by Avraham Taiber, director of the Israel Investment Authority of North America. Mr. Avinoam,whose headquarters will be in Boston, succeeds Michael Haft, who has returned to Israel following a two-year tour of duty.
