Israeli fencers are being excluded from an international fencing tournament in Jordan. Ha’aretz reported this week that the head of the Jordanian fencing union asked the two Israeli athletes not to attend the tournament beginning in Aqaba this Thursday out of concern their presence would lead to a boycott by Arab participants.
