Israeli forces foiled two infiltration attempts by Gaza Strip terrorists.
A group of Hamas gunmen tried to scramble over the border fence in northern Gaza late Tuesday, apparently intent on carrying out an attack in the nearby Israeli community of Nativ Ha’asara. They were intercepted by the border patrol, and in the ensuing gunfight two of the terrorists were killed.
In southern Gaza, two Palestinian gunmen were shot dead after troops spotted them approaching the border fence.
There were no Israeli casualties in either incident.
