Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres called on Europe to exert greater pressure on Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat to end attacks on Israelis. Speaking to a group of journalists in Berlin, Peres also said the European Union should not cut financial support to the Palestinian Authority.
