Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres is said to be advocating greater international involvement to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported Wednesday that Peres has proposed that Israel work out an understanding with the United States, European Union, United Nations and Russia on the conditions for a peace agreement with the Palestinians.
