“The Provisional Government of Israel enjoys the confidence of the overwhelming majority of the population,” Dr. I. Schwartzbart, member of the Zionist Actions Committee, said here today upon his return from Israel where he attended the Committee’s recent session. “Many of its steps are criticized, but almost everybody says: ‘it is the best Government we can afford now.’ It is both cautious and courageous, watchful and successful,” he added.
