Israeli Govt. Informs Britain Term “israeli” Refers Only to Citizen of Jewish State

The Government of Israel has notified the British Foreign Office that henceforth in all official documents the term “Israel” will be used as an adjective as well as a noun, as in “Israel troops” or “Israel borders.” The term “Israeli” will be used only as a noun to describe citizens of the Jewish state, the Foreign Office was told.
