The number of immigrants in camps has reached point where these centers cannot take in any additional immigrants, although thousands more are arriving weekly, it was reported here today.

A cornerstone for the first of some 900 housing units to be built in Nathanya ##d Haifa for immigrants was laid at Nathanya yesterday. Dr. Israel Goldstein, treasurer of the Jewish Agency and president of the Agency-sponsored Amidar corporation which has contracted to build the homes, spoke at the ceremonies. He pointed out at there would be at least 150,000 immigrants by the end of this year needing some ###,000 apartments. Asserting that Amidar could not cope fully with this situation, Goldstein appealed to American Jewry for further assistance.

Harry Rogoff, editor of the Jewish Daily Forward of New York, arrived at Hai-## yesterday. He was met at the docks by Joseph Gravitsky, chief of the government ##ess department, and representatives of the Israeli Journalists Association.
