Israeli labor Minister Golda Myerson, only woman Cabinet member in the Jewish state, was today received by Eva Peron, Argentina’s First Lady. She was accompanied by Yaakov Teur, Israel’s Minister to Argentina.

Earlier, Mrs. Myerson called on Gen. Franklin Lucero, deputy to Foreign Minister Hippolito Paz, who is currently in Washington. During their half-hour interview Mrs. Myerson explained the current Israeli-Syrian dispute to the General and expressed the hope that peace would be maintained, a sentiment which the General echoed. The Argentinian explained the Peron Government’s friendship for Israel and for the Jewish people. He pointed out that the administration is opposed to racial discrimination in any form.
